A plüssvelúr finom anyag, Simogatnivaló puhasággal és szuper elasztikussággal. A színén nagyon rövid szőrszálak vannak, amelyek a fényszögtől függően fényesek. A hátoldala sima. Ez a drapp színű plüssvelúr igazán univerzálisan alkalmazható. Készíthetsz belőle: csinos ruhát, pulóvert, szabadidő ruhát/nadrágot, kardigánt, sapkát, csősálat,... Számunkra viszont annyit fog jelenteni, hogy a polárral ellentétben a micropolár ugyanazon gramsúly mellett egy selymesebb, finomabb tapintású és mindemellett még vékonyabb anyag is lesz. A hagyományos polár nálunk 250 g\/m2 készül el, melyből szabadidő ruha lehet, míg micropolárból kapható, 200 g\/m2 240 g\/m2 illetve még 300 g\/m2 gramsúlyú változat is.
